Welcome to Jake Lowry's: The Moto School

The Moto School is instructed by, you guessed it, me, Jake Lowry. I have been coaching riders since 2008. I became USMCA certified in 2018 and was one of the first 100 motorcycle coaches to be certified. Currently I have weekend group classes once a month at different tracks in the area. What makes The Moto School different than other schools? First I am an ex pro licensed SX and MX racer that actually still races today. I don't like to coach if I can't get on the bike and show my students what to do. I like to be the example. I feel the riders have more trust in the coach if he/she rides also. Second, I am very hands on. We do lots of drills and techniques at my schools. I feel the most important thing in moto is building your skill level. Yes twisting the throttle is great but if you don't know how to control it then you will end up on the ground and well, you can't win races on the ground. I believe a smart rider will ultimately be the one to beat in the end. How can you go fast if you don't know how to go fast?
